Overview
Dr Lee Penn is a psychologist and author writing about retirement and meaning in later life. The site needed to act as a long-term home for her writing, a place to sell the book, and a clear way to book speaking engagements.
Challenge
Author sites often split awkwardly between bookstore and blog. Hers needed to feel like both, without compromising either.
Approach
I built a marketing site with a featured book hero, a blog/writing section for ongoing essays, and a clear path to a contact form for speaking inquiries. SEO was baked in from the start to help the book show up in relevant searches.
Outcome
The site has become a flexible home for Dr Penn's writing and a steady inbound channel for book and speaking inquiries.
